ROLE OF INSULIN RESISTENCE

The high intake of processed sugar and processed carbohydrate increases insulin level (hyperinsulinemia) and with high fat intake cells will become resistant to insulin. When there is high level of insulin blood sugar in not entering the cells and there is pro-found fatigue felt, hence lethargy is very common in PCOS jut like in diabetes mellitus.
